“Brazilian Rosewood Conservation Project has three strong principles that make it a great REDD project. However, what sets us above all other REDD project is our attention to human rights. We standout leaps and bounds above any other REDD project in the world and far above any NGO working in the State of Para for the defense of the rights of river people”

About Us

Brazilian Rosewood Conservation Project was started in 2009 by Canadians who shared a belief: The Amazon is the Lungs of the World and must be protected at all cost. The project identified a landowner in the Amazon that was not actively doing projects and offered to complete this project. By 2013 the project was Validated by DNV; by 2014 it was Verified. The project has been successful due to the great team that is managing the project.
